Talking Concept Class: Shoot Brawler

from Wikipedia:
Shootfighting as a synonym for mixed martial arts, had its genesis 1970's, when Karl Gotch taught a group of Japanese professional wrestlers catch wrestling techniques, called "hooking" or "shooting". In 1976, one of these pro-wrestlers, Antonio Inoki, hosted a series of mixed martial arts matches. This led to an increased interest in real and effective technique, and eventually led to the creation of shoot wrestling, with some shoot-style professional wrestling organizations hosting legitimate mixed martial arts bouts, called "shoots". In the 1990's the interest grew, and certain shoot-style organizations like Pancrase evolved into pure "shoot" organizations. The term "shootfighting" was frequently used to describe these events and styles.

The word "shootfighting" was however coined by Bart Vale, an American with a background in wrestling. He was the Japanese Professional Wrestling Fujiwara Gumi (PWFG, a Japanese shoot-style professional wrestling organization) champion for close to three years. Upon moving back to America, Bart Vale used the term "shootfighting" to describe his own hybrid fighting system, which was a combination of the shoot wrestling techniques he had learned in Japan, and his experience in American karate and kickboxing. He also founded the International Shootfighting Association to promote shootfighting as a combat sport.

I wanted to use shootfighter, but it is a registered trademark!!

Im using "Shoot Brawler" because it still fits the idea, and doesnt infringe any trademarks XD
----------------------------

Function: Melee class using Fists, Feet, Knees, Elbows, Throws, Locks, Takedowns to disable, shutdown, or cause damage an enemy.

Armor: The SB is lightly armored at base 75, but very resilient to damage

Weapon: The SB uses his fists to attack. Their weapons usually resemble spiked or bladed knuckles

Primary Attribute:
Violence: The SB has a Brutality meter. It is similar to adrenaline. It gains 1 strike for every hit the SB takes, for every condition the SB receives, and 5 for every successful kill. The SB has built in skills into its primary line called Release skills. These skills utilize Brutality and have healing and regenerative properties. The SB will also auto-release his full brutality meter when it is full. The maximum strikes of brutality a SB can have is 12 Brutality at 16 Violence.

Strikes: Strikes are physical blows. Kicks, Punches, Elbow Strikes, Knee Strikes, Shin kicks, Hammer fist attacks, head butts, Lariat attacks. Use your imagination

Takedowns: Takedowns are physical blows that involve control of movement or cause damage. There are 2 kinds of takedowns: Throws and Locks. Throws can be vary from forcing an enemy back 100 feet, to pulling an ally back 100 feet behind aggro lines. They can also be short throws designed to inflict damage. Locks are built in snares. They can cripple or slow down a target while causing degenarative damage.

Focus: Focus are mental techniques the SB uses to power up his attacks or strengthen his defenses. These skills involve stances and release skills.

skills to come later.

Might I suggest shortening the throw distance?... 100 feet seems... Impossible. Maybe 25 feet at maximum? What would the brutality meter do?... You never really stated it.

-My Two Cents-
Give him 60 armor, I'd assume they'd be wearing light clothes anyways. 20 Energy base and 2 energy gain pips. For every 3 pips of brutality you gain - 2 health regeneration, 5 armor, and .25 energy regeneration. This way at 12 he would have 8 health regeneration, 80 armor, and about 4 energy regeneration.

Make brutality gained from bringing a foe bellow 50% health (3 points), Killing foe (6 points), but everytime you drop bellow 25% health you loose 2 points of brutality.

The Shoot Brawlers attacks would run off adreline and need to be comboed. Starting with... Punch (For now), Kick (For now), Throw, then a Take Down or Pin. Instead of shouts they should have taunts... With every taunt they use they gain 1 brutality.

{Elite} Submission: 12 Adreline
Take Down. Target foe takes 20.....85 damage and is knocked down, all of his skills are disabled for 2....8 seconds.
